We The People has been empanelled as a Key Resource Centre (KRC) under National Jal Jeevan Mission for offering capacity building and training of L2 (Superintending Engineers, Executive Engineers, Asst. Executive Engineers, Asst. Engineers, Junior Engineers, Sub-Engineers) of PHED, PWD, Rural Water Supply Dept., Water Utility Managers, officials of State and District Water Sanitation Mission (S/DWSM) of all the states and Union Territories of India on planning, implementation, operation and maintenance of Rural Water Supply Schemes (RWSS) under Jal Jeevan Mission.
As of March 2023, we have trained over 500 L2 functionaries of UP, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, J&K, MP, Odisha, UT of Ladakh, and Jharkhand offline and online since 2021.

As of March 2023, we have trained over 3000 L3 functionaries of Chhattisgarh, MP, UT of Ladakh, and Jharkhand offline since 2021.
We The People has been appointed as a Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Simdega, Jharkhand by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India in 2021 to train and facilitate employment opportunities for 1800 candidates per annum including wage-and-self-employment and micro-entrepreneurship development, emphasising on BPL, SCs, STs, minorities, OBCs and women from lower-income households.
As of March 2023 (in 18 months), we have trained 2700 candidates as Domestic Data Entry Operators, Self-Employed Tailors, Asst. Beauty Therapists, and Bamboo Crafts, Plumbing, Electricians, and Food Processing of which 91% of them were girls or women and farmers.
National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) is a centrally sponsored programme of the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India aimed at creating efficient and effective institutional platforms for the rural poor, enabling them to increase household income through sustainable livelihood enhancements and improved access to financial services. Ajaya Mohapatra as a National Resource Person (Institutions Building and Capacity Building) for the National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (NIRD&PR), Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India has been supporting State Rural Livelihoods Missions (SRLM) building capacity of the State/District/ Block Mission Managers, State/District/ Block Resource Persons, community cadres i.e., CRPs, IPRPs, Bookkeepers, CLF Managers, etc. since 2017 to date.
Ajaya Mohapatra so far supported over 5000 personnel of SRLMs and CBOs from the state of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir.
State Urban Development Agency (SUDA), Govt. of West Bengal had commissioned this project for developing DPR on scientific solid waste management (SWM) (SWM) as per SWM Rules 2016 for the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in West Bengal (India). We The People developed the DPR for 17 ULBs in West Bengal. Besides, offered project management consultancy services to 17 ULBs in the execution of the DPR for scientific solid waste management (SWM) as per SWM Rules 2016 for the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in West Bengal (India). The following services are offered under this Mission:
· To conduct an area survey to assess local demography, number of households, the quantum of waste generation, bulk waste generators in the city at daily markets, commercial establishments, educational institutions, hostels, bus terminus, railway stations, burning ghats, slums etc.
· To assess the existing system run by the ULB for collection, segregation and transportation with all details of vehicles, utilities and human resources i.e., existing manpower of conservancy staff (permanent & daily wages labourers)
· To propose an efficient collection and transportation system as per SWM rule 2016, considering future expansion with all details of vehicles, utilities, and human resources i.e. existing manpower of conservancy staff( permanent & daily wages labours) and frequency of garbage collection.
· To locate existing disposal ground (area in acres), whether as per RoR ULB is in possession of disposal ground, whether NOC has been obtained from WBPCB. In the event, the ULB does not have any disposal site whether they have approached the district collector for allocation of the required quantum of land.
· To hold detailed citizen consultation on the issue in order to conceive an overall strategy that will define the concept, objective and implementation mechanism of waste management in the city.
· To prepare a Detailed Project Report for the effective implementation of SWM in the city.
· To suggest IEC activities to be undertaken for generating mass awareness.
· To impart handholding training to the motivators including councillors, officials, students, municipal health workers, SHG members
· To suggest convergence with other government programmes for effective planning of waste management.
· Preparation of Bye-law in tandem with the policy framed by the State Government, Urban Local Body, Waste Management Rules 2016 and directives issued from time to time from the National Green Tribunal considering the local aspects of the city.
We The People conceptualised, designed, and developed a Web-based platform and mobile app for the street vendors of its City Livelihood Centres (CLC) for the Dept. of Urban Development, Govt. of Himachal Pradesh under the National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM).
The Urban Development dept. in order to connect the city service providers- Plumbers, Electricians, Drivers, Domestic Help, etc. with the city customers, commissioned this project of creating a Web-based platform and Mobile App, a first-of-its-kind innovative project promoted by a state government in India. The following scope of work was included:
- Submission of Software Requirements Specification and design document.
- Development of Android mobile application as per the scope of work (support Android OS and other platforms) and demonstration of same to SULM.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of Mobile applications by 10 ULBs as well as SULM.
- Final Mobile application customized after UAT.
- Hosting of final Mobile Application on the web server and going live after approval by SULM along with submission of user manuals.
- Capacity building of State Urban Livelihood Mission Staff on the Mobile App.
We The People conducted studies on social and environmental impact assessment, skill gap studies, diagnostic studies, due diligence of NGOs, research projects, project monitoring and evaluation for the Corporate Sector viz. ACC Ltd., HZL, JSPL, JSL, and Vedanta Group and state governments viz. Integrated Livelihood Support Programme (ILSP), Dept. of Rural Development, Govt. of Uttarakhand, and Dept. of Social Justice, Govt. of HP.
